1. ACCEPTANCE AND WEBSITE PURPOSE
These Terms of Use apply to the MJV Masonry & Contracting website. By using the website or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms. The website provides general information about MJV's masonry and contracting services, project examples, contact options and Quote Form process.

3. QUOTE REQUESTS ARE NOT CONTRACTS
Submitting a Quote Form, sending photographs, emailing, calling, or otherwise contacting MJV does not create a contractor-client relationship, service agreement, warranty, binding quote, guaranteed appointment or guarantee that MJV will accept a project.
Any pricing reference, estimate, timeline, service description or project example is preliminary or illustrative unless confirmed in a written agreement. Final scope, price and timing may depend on site conditions, measurements, materials, labour, access, weather, permits, code requirements, safety considerations, customer changes and other project-specific factors.
4. QUOTE FORM FIRST — NO DIRECT PUBLIC CALENDAR BOOKING
Prospective customers are directed to the Quote Form. Marty Vandenberg reviews the request first. If MJV decides that a consultation or site visit should be offered, a private appointment or booking link may be provided afterward. The public website must not contain a direct public calendar-booking link or connection.
5. LAWFUL USE
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not submit knowingly false or misleading information; upload material you do not have permission to provide; attempt to interfere with, overload, damage or gain unauthorized access to the website or related systems; send malicious code or spam; impersonate another person; or misuse MJV content, branding, photographs or systems.
6. CUSTOMER INFORMATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
When requesting a quote or service, you are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge; identifying known property hazards, restrictions or access concerns that may affect the work; having authority to request work at the property; and obtaining owner, landlord, condominium, municipal or other approvals where required unless a written agreement assigns that responsibility differently.
Customers are responsible for following reasonable site-safety instructions and keeping children, pets, vehicles, valuables and personal belongings away from active work areas as appropriate.
7. PERMITS, CODES AND APPROVALS
Some projects may require permits, inspections, engineering review, municipal approvals, condominium approval, landlord consent or compliance with building and safety requirements. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, the customer is responsible for confirming and obtaining required permissions and approvals. MJV may provide practical information but does not guarantee that general website information satisfies project-specific legal or technical requirements.
8. PROJECT PHOTOS AND TESTIMONIALS
Project photos or examples shown on the website are illustrative and do not guarantee identical results at another property. Photos submitted through the Quote Form are for project assessment and related business purposes; submission does not automatically authorize marketing use. MJV maintains separate photo and testimonial permission processes for public use where appropriate.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, website text, original graphics, project materials, MJV-created photographs, layout elements, logos and branding are owned by MJV Masonry & Contracting or used under permission or licence. You may view the website for personal and informational purposes. Except where permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, sell, distribute or commercially exploit MJV materials without permission.
